I both agree and disagree with this post, oddly enough, even though Terezi used to be my favorite. First, when exactly did Terezi kill Jade? And yes, Terezi did orchaestrate the death of one of the Daves just because she could, but she at least felt remorse for it (though that doesn’t make her any better). John was killed only because she didn’t know any better. Terezi couldn’t see the doomed timeline so she didn’t know that John would actually listen to her.

Vriska on the other hand not only killed Tavros, but also launched him off a cliff and crippled him for no reason, then continued to bully him about being in a wheelchair even though it was her fault. Not only that, but she also caused the death of Aradia through her red quadrant (Sollux), which is unnecessarily sadistic, and she is just an all around unpleasant person to be around most of the time.

My point is that both of them are considered flawed characters, at least in my opinion, and neither of them are really better than the other. That’s probably why they worked so well together when they were FLARP partners.

I will agree though that Terezi has taken over Sollux as resident plot convenience, and that needs to be fixed ASAP
